AVM for memo to Sajjan to start Asr-Vancouver flight

The Amritsar Vikas Manch (AVM) has written to the SGPC to hand over a memorandum to Canadian Defence Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan when he visits Golden Temple later this month. They want direct flights from Amritsar to Vancouver, and Amritsar to Toronto.

AVM president Kulwant Singh Ankhi said the Canadian Defence Minister was expected to pay obeisance at Golden Temple on April 20. He said a large Sikh population resided in Vancouver, Toronto and areas around these cities. It would be convenient for them to come directly to the holy city to pay obeisance at Golden Temple.
